About Angie’s Pizza

Thin crust wood fried pizza, beer, natural wine and house made ice cream.

Located at 3228 16th St, San Francisco, CA 94103, Angie’s Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving San Francisco in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In San Francisco, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across California on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 5–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Angie’s Pizza at (415) 829-2040; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is angiespizzasf.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 245 reviews, which is a strong result for a pizza restaurant in San Francisco and suggests consistent service.

San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Francisco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Still dreamin’ about the meatballs from Angie’s… had I known better, I would’ve ordered the extra meatball. 😭 Angie’s is a cute, chic restaurant specializing in wood-fired pizza and a seasonal rotating menu. Such a perfect spot for date night! Absolutely loved the R&B music, the vibes, and, of course, mopped up every last bit of food. 😂 We ordered the heirloom tomato salad, wood-fired meatballs, Margherita pizza, and peach vanilla sundae — and everything was DELICIOUS. It completely satisfied every pizza craving we had. On a previous visit, we ordered the pepperoni pizza to-go, and OMG. It might be one of the most perfectly balanced pizzas I’ve had — sweet, spicy, savory, and just the right amount of everything. Great food, great vibes, and a great date-night spot. Definitely coming back for those meatballs. 🍕

Came here for dinner catch up with a friend it’s a cozy atmosphere and very dark inside but they have a wood fired oven for their pizzas. The meatballs is a sure hit if you like meatballs. Preferred the pepperoni hot honey pizza.

The food was amazing. We did take out and the Pizza tasted really great. Very different taste I would say; felt like I was eating healthy pizza without knowing how it was cooked. Price was moderate and will definitely be going here again. Special thanks to the guy with the accent who was friendly and took our orders. The dine in area was dark and it wasn't a lot of seating.

John has created such a cool vibe and "3rd place" in the neighborhood paired with incredibly delicious apps, pizza, wine and dessert. The crust is out of this world and the menu regularly rotates but keeps the best sellers. Shout out to Cam, Kelly, and all the staff making our neighborhood feel like a home 🥰🍕🍷 - proud repeat offender 💙mark

Incredible and fairly affordable pizza in SF. I loved the cozy ambiance and how tucked in it felt. Our server was great, too. Everything was fab, but the fingerling potato pizza was the star of the show. Do not miss it. Dessert was also delicious. The only downside is that they do not offer liquor, so you are limited to beer, a couple of vermouth options, or wine. Not a big deal, but good to keep in mind.
